The lights were turned on. People stood up and started moving to the entrance of the auditorium.
I went out of the auditorium thoughtfully.
Due to the overwhelming feelings after watching the Langart Night, I decided to write something down to help me remember this unforgettable night.
Well, I had watched this kind of drama during the Contact Time before. However, the Langart Night is different. During the Contact Time, we just watched one drama for one hour and what I felt was that the drama was quite interesting and a lot of students had put great effort in it. After watching the Langart Night, I had some more feelings that were not just commenting whether the stories were interesting or not. I love English, this language even more than before!
Firstly, the Langart Night lasted for two hours and a half. This was a long time indeed, and continuously what I heard was English, hence naturally I felt the effect of English the first time.
Secondly, the Langart Night gave me an opportunity to appreciate other people’s story. I really enjoyed their perspective and their thinking about human, love, life and death. And to my surprise, I found out that they could think very deeply and they were just like philosophers. Again, the thought about life and death were shown in the drama, which began with the legend of Adam and Eve.
Thirdly, I realized how important English is, and how convenient it will be if I can be able to use this language. Actually, when I was in primary school, I was taught that English is one of the most important languages. I knew this fact. But after the experience of tonight, I felt about this on my own the first time.
Furthermore, I have the intent to be a student sitting in the Langart classroom and have the opportunity to play a role in the dramas. Moreover, I realized how much effort I should put into if I want to use English more comfortably. I will learn even harder from now on and make my dream come true.
