When I was in Secondary 3 back in my country, I came across the funniest (I hate grammar of superlatives or comparatives) – in the cold sense – test question, ever. It was a physics problem. The students were required to explain the physical phenomenon. The question was roughly like this:
大清年间，林则徐应洋人之邀赴宴。洋人上一道甜品，可谓冰淇淋，冒有白气。则徐以为热，故以口吹之，被洋人取笑。过后则徐回请洋人，上高汤一碗，表面有厚油，故无热气。洋人一口吞下，滚到地上，喜哈有声。
Troubled by the language? Okay. During Qing Dynasty, Lin Zexu (an official who banned opium) were invited by Westerners for a meal. The offspring of the Anglo-Saxons provided some snacks, known as ice cream. Zexu thought the snack was hot, due to his observation of the “white smoke”. Thus, he blew it with his mouth, giving the Westerners an excuse to laugh at him. Zexu took revenge later on. He provided them with very hot soup. However, a thick layer of oil covered the soup, so there was no escape of water vapours. Westerners thought it was cold, hence drank it up, and rolled onto the floor, gasping and laughing.
It is a “=.=” right? Okay, yesterday was really busy. The Track and Field Day. Well, now I know what is called “cheer in top of the voice”. Our Captain was a pretty good example and I have to learn from him. Alpha glory. Yes, Alpha glory, glory for Alpha. The Alpha cheerleaders have done a good job. I know, the rest of the Houses had a longer cheerleading duration and more dances. But I know how hard Alpha cheerleaders had trained. So, a pat on the shoulders to the cheerleaders.
After the relay race of PDPs, in which my PDP lost, my attention was diverted to things happened behind sports complex. Somehow, someone got a basketball somewhere, therefore I got a chance to practice hoop. Trinity shot a while as well. And soon Zhi Hao and Gavin joined me. Zhi Hao kept shooting but very few went into the hoop, so I kept calling him sucker, and he laughed and shot again. Okay, a three point, or, a zero point? Dunno. That was the end of everything of Friday that worthwhile for me to jot down. Titans trial is coming soon. See if I could get it over.
